A Dream Taking Flight

          Hello there! We are Zak and Ashlea Harrington, co-founders of Phoenix Performing Arts. While the company name may be new, our experience and dedication to the performing arts spans decades. With this experience, we have come to understand the profound impact the arts can have on individuals and communities. We are thrilled to introduce ourselves and share a bit about our dream.

           Our personal journeys with the performing arts began when we were young children but, as we have grown, we have found a true calling for providing theatre education and quality performance opportunities for people of all ages. For us, the stage has always been a place of magic – a canvas where stories come to life and imagination has no limits. We have a strong belief in the transformative power of the arts. We know that creativity thrives in an environment where every voice is valued, and where respect and empathy guide our actions. We believe in our mission to establish a space where individuals of all ages can gather to explore their artistic potential, express themselves freely, and forge lasting connections. 

            We aim to provide a safe, innovative, and nurturing environment where everyone – regardless of age, background, or experience – can actively participate and find their space to belong. We believe that the arts have the ability to transcend barriers, ignite inspiration and foster personal growth – on stage and off.
